Neurobehavioral Model Trainings
The neurobehavioral model workshops are for parents, caregivers, teachers, providers, or other concerned community members who want to learn more about the impact of prenatal and postnatal toxic stress and trauma on the brain and how best to support individuals living with neurobehavioral differences. This training helps individuals build a set of tools, rooted in the latest neuroscience, that will allow them to be more successful in their support of individuals with a history of trauma, suspected or confirmed FASD or other neurobehavioral conditions.
Eileen offers follow-up consultation for groups or individuals interested in gaining a greater mastery of applying this model to their specific agency or organization. In order to be eligible for on-going consultation, the group must have, at a minimum, already attended an "Into Action" three-hour training by Eileen.
Building Resiliency in Families and Organizations
Eileen offers training on topics relevant to the experience of parenting or supporting children with challenging behaviors, including: recognizing the signs and symptoms of compassion fatigue and burnout in individuals, family units or systems of care; developing personalized self-care plans; reducing relational stress in marriages and personal or professional partnerships; and approaches to building resiliency as a parent or provider of a child with behavioral symptoms.
